S&s 124

Anyone out there running a s&s 124 with a mikuni 48? If so what size jets you running to get a idea of where I should be. Many thanks Joey

How about a 105" with a Mikuni HSR 42? I'm running with a 20 low, 50 squirter and a 160 main. Keep in mind, Mikuni jetting is over rich. A CV-40 190 main jet equals a Mikuni 160 jet. CV 198 equals a Mikuni 165 jet. Stick to the 20 low speed jet, it works best and fine tune the mixture. Follow the adjustments in the Mikuni Tuning Guide. 1/4 to 3/4 throttle response is best adjusted with the needle valve e clip setting. Main jet 165 is a good starting point too. Use the 50 squirter it delivers less fuel over the same stroke. THAT gives ya better throttle response and a little better MPG. GOOD LUCK!
