Default Dyna rear wheel problems

So I just recently did some motor work to my 07 street bob. Bigger jugs, cams , pistons.. the whole 9. Well I’m about 3,000 miles In on that and finally broke some spokes on my rear wheel. So I got a mag wheel from my local shop and the man said it was off of a dyna and would work. I get mine off and go to put new wheel on and my axle will not, and I mean will no go in! Tried it all but I can tell where the axle necks up that it’s too big to go through my hub/bearings...just wondering what is my alternative here? New wheel all together? New bearings? New axle of smaller size? Please help me out. Thanks

Your bike will have a 25mm axle, if the wheel you got is older than 2006 it should suit a 1" axle so it won't work but it should be loose not too tight?!
New bearings is the answer regardless.

Wrong! 07 has 1" axles. You probably got a rear wheel from 08+ with 25 mm axle. You should only get wheels from 06 and 07 if you want a direct fit without mods.

Your 07 should have 1" axles. If the wheels you snagged are 08+ they will be 25mm, where 1" is 25.4mm, so it wont work. If you got some 2000-2005 wheels, they are a mix match of 3/4" and 1" depending on year and front or rear wheel. Maybe post up a photo of the wheel you have, and someone like multihdrdr will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about it.
