Default Evo dynas

Im looking at a few evo dynas and some evo fxrs, mostly lowriders. The dynas are around 4-5k with what i consider low miles at under 30k. The fxrs seem to be 5-6 with similar but slightly more miles. Ive been on hd touring and im pretty familiar with those, but not really the evo bikes. I had a shovel fxrt but through in the towel on that. Too many years of neglect and abuse with that bike.

I almost forgot my question, are these decent prices for stock bikes? Or should they be lower? Were coming into winter here in pittsburgh and i just dont know if im looking at getting ripped off, if i should stick with the fxrs for a little more money, and what years i should maybe avoid.

Winter and tax season have been my go-to times for deals on bikes. If I was looking for Evo's though, I'd lean FXR. I'm near Atlanta, GA, and for 5-7k you can get a late 2000's early 2010's dyna with a 6 speed and bigger Twin Cam. I only saw 2 FXR's for sale on facebook for my area, one was $6,700 for over 100k miles, the other one was set up like a California club bike for $13,500. Not the biggest sample size, but I'd say you're probably seeing the "fair" price range. Another thing to look out for is how long they stay listed for sale. If they're moving fast, the market is saying that's a good price.

Your prices seem fair to me. When I was looking for my 98 the last few weeks the asking prices were all about $5-6,000 with miles and condition all over the map. That was in Georgia, Florida and CT/RI. Then I found this all original 98 Dyna Convertible with 7300 miles for $4000, and I immediately snapped it up. From what I have read, the 96-98 models are the best.

Ya ive been thinking about throwing out some offers to see if anything sticks. Right now im having some issues deciding what to do. I sold my shovel rt because it flat wore me out. Ive already got a 14 ltd with stage 4 that fills the "hd genre" want really well. Its loud, handles well, carrys me and the wife well, i love the thing. Ive been kind of kicking around going to something thats the total opposite of what hd is in a sport/tour bike like an fjr or st1300. I know they dont hold value like an hd, but i feel like variety would be nice too. 1st world problems, holy hell.
