Dyna Shock Issue

I have a 2010 fxd. I installed Progressive #412 shocks and at Progressive’s suggestion I got the HD springs. Progressive said if the load I’m carrying is in excess of 250 lbs I should get the HD springs. I weigh 280 but even with the shocks adjusted at the lightest preload, it’s like riding my old hard tail. There is no “sag” when I sit on the bike. Is this normal??

How long are the shocks and are they installed parallel to the chassis?

Progressive shocks ride HARD! Get the HD springs off and replace them with the regular springs. For me, Progressive shocks suck. I'm running FLH air shocks on my 07 Dyna.
