Yeah, I will be getting 13" rear shock, so not too worried about ground clearances, but more about foot position/comfort. I changed to mid controls from stock, and don't have enough space for my feet on primary side. When I'm riding the canyons with my toes/***** of my feet on the pegs, back of my boot is rubbing against the primary cover, causing paint to peel off.
