To install a TWR Missing Link stabilizer on my 02 EGC, the above bushing must be purchased and installed.

Can anyone tell me what this bushing is?
My service manual only shows a rubber mount behind the swingarm bracket.

Does this bushing replace the rubber mount?

Thanks in advance.

The bushing is the rubber mount. The swingarm bolt goes through the rubber mounts on both sides of the bike.

The new rubber mount differs from the 02 model in that it has a slot instead of a pinhole to mate the bracket and bushing. There is a corresponding tab on the TWR bracket that sits in the slot. Hint -before putting the new bushing onto the bike, push the bushing (slot into tab) onto the back of the TWR bracket, then slide the bracket into place over the swingarm bolt. Then tighten the TWR bracket bolts. Then tighten the swingarm nut. Much easier than trying to mount the bushing while eyeballing the slot to get it in the right position to mate with the tab on the bracket.
