Ignition issue
2009 FXDC 50,000 miles
A little history first. My stator went bad so I replaced it, I did not replace the battery or voltage regulator. While on a trip my battery got extremely hot swelled very big and was smoking. The main fuse and the battery fuse also blew at this time. I replaced the battery and voltage regulator plus the blown fuses. Now, when I turn on the ignition the N light comes on, the oil light and head light comes on. No other indication lights that come on normally are lit, plus the fuel filter doesnt hum. The engine cranks but, no ignition all at all. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Blown fuses combined with a hot, smokin', swollen battery indicates the voltage went sky high. Just about anything electrical from the indicator bulbs to the ECM could be fried. Keep digging....
