I'm trying to adjust the angle of the front brake lever downward.
I have loosned the screws on the master and screw on the housing.(unlike other housings, there is only 1 on this)
When it's loose, and I angle the assembly downward, about 3/8 inch, the brake light hangs up and either stays on or flickers.
I cannot seem to line up the linkage so that there is nothing hindering it.
When I place it back in the original position it's Ok.
thanks for help
You rotating the switch housing and lever perch/master cylinder by the same amount? The brake switch is part of the switch housing but requires a tab on the brake lever to keep it depressed so the lights stay off. If the lights come on when they shouldn't, the switch may be loose (there is a leaf spring in the housing pocket to keep it from flopping about), plunger broken (fragile plastic nubbin breaks easily), lever not returning all the way (various reasons), etc.
