I think I know the answer but, did the bar mounted speedo fit that dash? I assume it did as you didn't mention replacing it but I had to ask anyway.

Bro that looks sick, I was looking to do the same thing to my 2003 FXD but the dealer quoted me about 2 grand... con artists. Im in the process of swaping out my stock front end with a springer front end with a set of 16 inch apes and my speedo and tach are gonna look crappy on the bars, so i want to relocate them to the tank with a speedo / tach combo from a FXDW. Your bike is a great visual of what mine could look like. Thanks LIP

Hey would it be much different if it was a wideglide tank? And was the fuel pump hard to work? I looked at the manual I don't think you gave yourself enough credit man looks kinda of complicated.

seriously it wasnt really hard at all, cant really do a wide glide tank because the speedo and idiot lights are different,if you do low rider or street bob setup everythibg swaps right over no problemsat all
