Have you checked how it looks with the fairing parallel to the forks?
I see a downward angle on the rear swing arm with the bottom of the frame level, LOL.
Are the Bitubos OK with running them upside down?
Looking good!!!
Dave
Hi, i tried that, but it ended up being to far out from the forks, because of the Speedo.
So that created a strange nose if you know what I mean...😂
Yes, we have an angle😂😂😂 Hope it stays like that😂
Regarding the Bitubos, I thought they were supposed to be installed the normal, logic way, but all the stickers on them indicate that they are supposed to be mounted "upside down"
I even sent an email to Bitubo asking if this was correct or if someone was a sleep while putting the stickers on😂😂😂 But they told me their supposed to be mounted like that so🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Hopefully the engine will be reassembled next week, and some other bits ready from paint🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Strange🤔 I have seen a different model with piggyback that was the normal way to...
I bought two sets of these shocks, and both of them are labeled as to mount them upside down for some reason....
I will send a picture to Bitubo and ask again I think🤔
I don't think he has numbers. He has Marks and Letters with the "Letters" being the same at 180° (e.g. "S" and "H")
That is correct, the only thing indicating they are the wrong way now are the casted Bitubo logo on them... The logo is now upside down, but if the logo is the correct way, all the stickers are upside down.... So who really knows... Like I said, I ordered two sets, and both of them are the same way, but I sent a email to Bitubo on Friday, so ill wait and see what they say....
Is there some rule of thumb that the shaft should be one way or the other? Thinking of oil leaks and so on...
Aaaaight, some progress made, but Im waiting for some parts to arrive😕
The bike is almost done, all the electrics is about finished.
I need my rear brake caliper so I can fab a mounting point to the swing arm before that can be painted, also need the gear linkage and a bearing for the inner primary before I can finish that side up.
Im also waiting for my heads to get beck from rebuild....
Got my Sputhe kit installed, so thats exiting I think, hope the handling will be better now...🤞🏻
