Sorry for taking so long to get back. My A.F. # is right at 13. But after several long rides this weakend I get a lot of loud backfire noise only on decell along with some pop,pop popping. Is this OK? Should I call the guy that did the tune or should I call Power Commander and talk to them? The bike runs good and looks even better. Thank you guys are the best. 2006 Wide Glide Vance & Hines (Big Radius) Power Commander III and Arlen Ness AC(Big Sucker) Max Power = 68.01 Max Torque = 74.02 Thanks Again
The PCIII canned maps do not add any fuel at 0% throttle position.
If your tuner started with a canned map, and didn't add fuel at 0% throttle, you will likely have the popping you are experiencing.
You can get rid of most popping by adding somewhere around 10-20 to the 0% throttle settings.
Your bike will idle a bit higher.
