I'm 5'7" tall with a 2002 Low Rider. I fitted the reduced reach forward Controls kit shown above. It moves the pegs back about an inch or so. Doesn't sound much, but made plenty of difference.
If you want to keep that feet forward stance, then i can recommend the reduced reach kit. easy as pie to fit too. good luck.

Thanks I ordered the above kit as well as the Le Pera up front silhouette seat so one or both will do the trick.

My wife is 5' 3" and rides a lowered '93 LowRider with forward controls, and a Corbin low flat seat that has a backrest. She does fine with thick soled boots but occasionally I have to help her back into a parking spot.
im 5'2" and have a Burley lowering kit front and rear, and a reduced seat and I fit flat footed ,so backing up is not a problem. rides a little stiff but bearable.....hell i take 6-8 hrs trips on the bike.
At the time, this was the shortest Progressive could go on a shock. It only has 1/4" travel. The front forks are stock length. She has THE biggest backrest though!
