The only reason I brought it up is because another Harley rider once asked me (an aircraft mechanic) if I knew of anything other than the Phillips product that came in SAE 60. Having never thought to look myself, as I was comfortable with 20W-50, I foolishly assumed he was having trouble finding a motorcycle specific oil.
SAE wts aren't viscosity, as I'm pretty sure everyone knows. At temps above and below the SAE range, ( 0 deg F low and 212 deg F high), synthetics are more stable, (thin or thicken less). Thats why I prefer synthetics. Actual oil viscosity measured in cSt (centistokes) above 212 deg F and below 0 deg F is a relative no mans land as values outside this range generally aren't published. Its not uncommon for a V-Twin to exceed 212 deg operating temp where, theoretically at least a 50 wt oil of one brand may actually have a higher viscosity in cSt's than a 60 wt oil in another brand.
V_Twins don't know all this horseshit so just run anyway.
