If you're worried about it, put a hose clamp on it.
BTW, if you are having excessive blow-by, it's time for a rebuilt, not a band-aid.

Thanks. Blow by happened after replacing the cam tensioners, inner bearings and rocker breathers. Recent. The band aid is for a scheduled trip. Drilling out the breathers when return.

If you are installing external breathers from the head vents, Google videos for external breather systems on Harley Davidsons. I don't know why you are showing a picture of the carb, the hose with the clamp is the fuel inlet to the float bowl. Good luck.
