I think we all know where this is headed. This is after about 30 miles after a thorough cleaning yesterday. The breathers check out 'cuz I just drained the oil and it just trickled out until I pulled the dipstick. Stage 1 with a bit over 43k miles on it. I'm thinking a ton of blow by due to Harley's great solution to meeting EPA emissions restrictions. Was gonna do the breather mod. but it looks like I found out about it too late. Just contacted Baxter's Garage for some info.
You might have a bit too much oil in the motor. Take some out and keep an eye on it.
It was low on the dipstick before and doing this. Maybe Bubba's right. I'll try that first as I've already got the breather bolts coming and I've got the other stuff already. We'll see. Where's the MAS?
Perfect time for a home made breather set up. Drill a hole on either side of the backing plate corresponding to the square hoses in the backing plate. (at the end of the short channel under the hoses) Go to the auto pats store for the plastic fittings and wind shield washer hose to connect 2 L fittings and 1 Y fitting. Run the hose behind the push rod tubes and down to the ground. You can thank me later.

Yep, just did that! Bought the drill and tap for the brass 1/4" barb fittings and plumbed it up!
Sadly, I believe it's a bit too late. At over 43k miles, the damage has been done. I'm going to ride it until it quits puking oil out the breather hose and then check my oil level and call THAT my oil level to run until I can afford to rebuild my engine.
