Problem is, the model list says that it doesn't fit my bike. The speedometer on my bike looks the same as one on a Road King, which it says WILL fit. Just wondering if the speedometers on Road Kings and FXDCs are the same size, diameter, etc. Anyone know if this will fit?

From everything I can find on the internet, it won't fit. I know it will fit a 2007 Road King, and a 2011 Super Glide Custom, but apparently not a 2012 Super Glide Custom. I know that for a fact because I have two people that I know with that same part # (74661-04) on those two bikes. Did they change the speedo diameter from 2011 to 2012 on the Super Glide Customs?
Not sure why HD's website, and every other place I checked, said this WOULD NOT fit my 2012 FXDC, but I couldn't see why it wouldn't, so I went ahead and bought it. Surprise! Fits like a glove! Part # 74661-04 if anyone wants to put one on their Super Glide Custom, it fits.
