I had 21" wheels on a few sportsters i owned with no problems different story on the Wideglide it followed the rain groves on the interstate like a train on tracks . The Lowrider and Streetbob handle alot better.
Ive had other bikes and other size from tires; gotta say the warnings about the 21 and its handling (especially in rain or grooves) has not been the case for me. (Thats why I jokingly referenced what the kids used to call my mad skillz.)
Never cared for 'em, myself. Just never liked the ride, handling or looks. The newer 120-wide 21"s look cool, but have never ridden one. 19" fronts are okay, but I prefer a fat 16" myself.
Ive been riding my 07 WG for 12 years (bought it in 09, math folks) and have had ZERO handling issues. Ridden in rain plenty of times. Is anybody with me? Or is it merely that I am so agile and coordinated that I simply overcome these issues w/o even noticing?
Now if youll excuse me, Ive got some tall buildings to leap in a single bound. After that, Rod and I are going to jump 15 buses, buy Frank a new heart, and then beat him nearly to death.
Harley finally realized so many riders were getting stuck in seams, tar snakes, and cracks in the asphalt which made them drive right into the ditch and explode. It's a safety issue. It's why I drive my WG on the shoulder most of the time.

Man, if I had a nickel for every time I got stuck in a seam, tar snake, or crack in the asphalt and exploded, Id have enough to pay both my medical and repair bills.
One time, my 21 even turned me into a newt!
I got better.
21 fronts is a very narrow percentage of an already narrow market. They arent going to make a special model for such a narrow market opportunity, if you like it, do it after the sale.
