DynaSuperglide jiffy stand.
Hey guys, my brother has a 14 super glide custom. The chrome plating on his jiffy musta flaked off and rusted. Drives him nuts he says.
. He wants me to change it out. How do they come out? Do I just remove a cotter pin from a pin, drive it out and the whole assy drops out?

The only hard part is the spring. One trick is when you have the spring extended put nickels between the coils so when you go to reinstall it you don't have to stretch out the spring, which holds a lot of tension. Don't forget to clean and lube the pivot point.

That's EXACTLY what we did. My Bro had heard of the spacer trick, but still was a mfer! Wtf????. Got it it done though! TY!👍🙂
