I have only spoke to one person who has one. So far he has been happy with it. The only down side to it was that every time he makes a change he has to ride it about 50 miles before it starts running right again. As far as a PCIII, i love them. Got a Thundermax with Auto Tune on my 07 FXWG. Was the best thing I ever did. No worrying about the bike running lean. The Tm tunes itself as you ride.
My buddy had a Terry Fuel unit on his bike he was having a few odd problems with. Ordered a TM from my buddy who has a Indy shop and had my build put in the Tm and installed it on the bike. He can tell the difference in it. His odd problems are gone.
The TM has free updates and like a 3 yr warranty if you do as instructed. It ain't that hard to install.
The biggest thing is the initial cost. Its the best tuner available on the market right now. No dyno needed unless you want advanced tuning. If you make upgrades to yer bike, go in and change yer base map part of the program.
