Is it all stock? At that mileage definitely ask about the cam chain tensioners. Other than that just ride it and check out the usual stuff.
2001 is AS FAR AS I KNOW, a good year.
At that time the problems from '99 and '00 were corrected.
I'm no fan of the TC (I'm all "EVO 4-ever") but 2001-2002 are considered good years amongst my TC buddies.
I think 2001 FXD and derivates have 130 rear tyre.
And if You consider going up in size it could be done, but the size of your wallet will schrink accordingly.
My buddys 2002 TC 88 did +70 kilo miles before we had to change the cam chain tensioners.
