not able to get parts
back in may ly son had a car back into his 2015 Fat Bob in a parking lot i took it over to a dealer to get it repaired they ordered the parts needed to fix it and has waited for one part for the last 4 months and now it's back ordered tell the middle of September. i called Harley's help line and all i got was crap out of over 700 dealers no one has this part not in inventory i have called 3 that on line they show that they had it but told they did not this is failing the customer not like this part is only on one bike the part is a brake push rod part number is 41955-03A no part should on back order for this long thanks for reading this

Theres a guy on here that will do a search for you...I think his name is monkeyboy...not 100 percent sure on the name but try looking for the thread. Other than that it's not just you...try finding tires right now...lots of people waiting for this part or that part.

Everything is in short supply, and has been for quite some time, it is not just a Harley Davidson thing.
This is unfortunately an issue everywhere right now. I manage a body shop and had a customer's Ford here from mid February to early August waiting for a critical part. And that's just one example of many. Parts are hard to get right now, and have been for awhile. It's not unusual for us to get replies from dealerships that they have no ETA when we'll receive the parts we ordered. It's not easy explaining to a customer that you have no idea when their main (or only) mode of transportation will be done. Could be weeks, could be months.

Its unfortunate right now but its not Harley its everyone. I went from getting any part I needed next day to dealing with backordered parts all the time.

First of all true that this is nothing new started many years ago because cost to wearhouseing parts cost money so they only have most used parts on a limited amount. The Vtwin part is not for a 2015 fat bob I have checked and as far as ebay that is a crap shot if its the right part and I have had two parts people at dealership look on the nation parts look up and there were three I called two snd was told they dud not have one
