I used a folded piece of 150 Emory cloth folded so as to keep edges square and not remove powder coat from sides. It leaves a flat aluminum finish that obviously will need touched up occasionally. But shine starts spotting up faster and is a lot more work.
Want shine? Just go up in the numbers on the cloth. For the ultimate, go with the wet paper type. It would probably be a 400 and can go to a 1000.
Remember, don't let anything make a slave out of you.
Guess it depends on if it's in love or in heat.

Great chart!! I have white / light grey / green / and maroon and use boxes of it.
I also use mounted scotch brite wheels and a 6" wide belt.
I couldn't work without them.
