The 300 tuner will not do what the 800 tuner will do. The 300.00 tuner is a piggy back. Were only talking about yer engine here . My buddy used to talk just like everybody else till he got one on his bike.
The 800.00 tuner is a ture tunerwill adjust itself as you ride and if you go up into the mountains.
There's a reason it cost more. Done been down both roads.
I understand the more expensive tuners allow more "tuneability". But TFI, DFO, ect used on an 06 and up with O2 sensers will still allow your engine to adjust for different altitudes if you go up in the mountains.
Hi ya - well my Harley is an out and out American bike shipped from the good ol' USofA August last year. Came clogged up for the US market with all the usual emission sh*t still on the bike.
Even though the comapny is a UK company they have had a lot of sucess with this little beauty across the '07 1584 range with their standard settings - it just plugs into the existing loom as a piggy back devive on the ECU with the O2 sensors plugged into the fuler and not the ECU. Menas you can use slips ons and not replace the entire exhaust system. You can turn off the mororised exhaust valves with another gismo from them - but as yet its not proved to be a problem. If it ain't broke then don't fix it?
