Difference in manuals.
I see two big service manuals for an 2002 Wide Glide. One has an orange cover w/about 600 pages and covers 1999-2005 Dynas and the other is partly beige in color and covers 2002 Dynas with about 450 pages and has the HD logo like it's the official one. I'm wondering what the differences are. Would the 1999 through 2005 Dynas be more pages because it covers more years and the 2002 manual only cover 2002 Dynas? Thanks
Telling us the names on the manuals would be more helpful than what colors they are.
Factory manuals only cover one model year per book. That's the one to get. Any of the other brands may miss certain things that don't carry over from one year to another, much less 6 years.

Thanks Neville, you just answered the question of which manual I was going to get. When I 1st joined the forum, I put the pics in the welcome
forum. (They are still there). The beige one has the HD logo on it (I think is the official one I want) and the orange has someone's "collection.net" inside the cover I downloaded free. Thanks again.

The p/n for the Harley Davidson FXD Dyna Factory Service Manual is 99481-02 2002. This # is printed on the back and on the index page.
