Is there any way you could get me a measurement from axle hole to the top of the caliper body?

Hi Jay,
From axle center to the top of the caliper 6 1/4 inches, to the top of the banjo bolt just over 6 3/4 inches, to the top of the bleeder valve just over 7 1/8 inches. Always happy to help.

Have a great evening: Mike

Thanks for the measurements. I put on a smaller diameter rim a couple years back but I have to take the disk off to get the stock caliper off now. I'm hoping to find one that can slip between the disk and the rim.

Nice bike! Looking forward for your upgrades!

Many people upgrade their rear caliper but not their master cylinder. You won’t utilize the calipers potential. The problem is how bad the oem rear masters are with aftermarket calipers.

Hi Bob,
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, work has been eating my brain and eating up some serious time. The main driver for the replacement of the caliper is unsprung weight and the somewhat wooden feel at the pedal, I hope this caliper fixes the situation. the PM caliper is sized to be compatible with the Dyna master cylinder The plan is to throw a fresh seal kit in the master when I pull the bike apart in a few weeks (I'm still enjoying the cool winter riding weather). I run Motul 600 fluid and change it when I feel guilty, about every 2 years, I like it because it doesn't turn into goo like the stock Harley fluid.
Best Wishes: Mike

No progress photos but a good friends retirement photo, I'm on the right.

Something like progress... I pulled the switch pod apart and verified the contacts were within spec 0.2 to 0.3 ohms in both positions in all switch's so we are good there, broke out the wiring into switch sets and numbered the conductors, only two of the switch's are active (horn and passing lamps), the third will be powered and wye off the bundle and be terminated to be used for something later.

Both horns are here, a Denali Sound Bomb and a Lucas Altette that has a very nice note, a pod switch controls which horn is activated from the horn button. The Denali is powered by a 35 amp relay with a 30 amp fuse, the Lucas by the modified existing wiring. The passing lamps are on their own circuit with a 35 amp relay and 15 amp fuse.

Most of the wiring supplies are here, factory Deutsch connectors in regular and high amp versions, silicone insulated wire in 14 and 12 gauge, wiring conduit which was not easy to find (http://www.cycleterminal.com/sleeve-tubing.html), so we are almost ready to go.
