I just bought a 2007 Harley Low Rider. 16000 miles it has a Stage 1 upgrade. Looking to upgrade the suspension. I weigh 260 and 6'4". I plan to make a 16 hour trip on the bike. No Fairing, the bike feels a bit shaky up front and rides hard. Any suggestions.

Reminds me of the old dog joke: Lost dogbrown fur, some missing due to mange, blind in one eye, deaf, lame leg due to recent traffic accident, slightly arthritic. Goes by the name of Lucky.
260lbs, 6'4, 16 hour trip, first thought is trade it in for a Road King!
Other first thing if you must ride it is replace rear shocks with good to high quality rear shocks.
Second thing is seat that fits you better unless it has an aftermarket one already.
Third thing is pain killers, narcotics, whatever it takes!
Good luck and give an after-action ride report when it's over, with some pics!
Any suggestions on rear and front shocks, how about Corbin vs. Saddleman seats. Love the bike, I can always trailer, but I think a Memphis shades fairing, shocks, and a seat will get through till I can buy a road king (and self medicating).

a few front end options out there, I'm still running stock but Looking at Bitubo catridge kit to match my bitubo rear shocks. I got the 12" rear shocks but id suggest moving up to 13" shocks for comfort. I also have a memphis shades cafe fairing that cuts the wind nice, but I would have the road warrior had it been out when I bought my fairing. I like the road warriors look and the different height windshields are nice.
Also I cant comment too much for comfort, as its not here yet but I just got a Saddlemen seat made and its in transit. I've sat on one before and liked it. more butt support, even for my bony ***. I suggesty sitting on a few if you can.
07 Low Rider is a good choice. I have over 104,000 on my 07 Dyna so I got a pretty good idea what will help ya out. 1st, replace the fork oil. Pain in the *** job but worth it. Get some 10w fork oil. 2nd, rear shocks. Get a pair of Street Glide take-offs (ebay has em cheap.) Gotta do some work on the rear air shock to make the perfect. Drain the oil out and refill with 10w fork oil (sound familiar?) Find a low pressure Harley air pump to adjust the firmness of the ride. You will need 2 schraider valves for the air shocks so ya don't have to run air lines and a fill valve. 3rd, a good seat that gives ya *** comfort and leg stretch.
