Default lost in sound.

Hi every body , my questionsare these. i would like to change the mufflers on my dyna 07 low rider, right now i have the SE from harley, but they don't sound like i tough, what i need to do to have a nice sound? buy a slips on or change the whole exhaust, which brand would be the better? I want to have a loud deep sound, like a harley needs to be. Thanks a lot and have a good ride.

I got an 06 Low Rider with V&H Big Shots on it and they sound good.
I did not really look at any other pipes when I bought my bike, also all my friends suggested the Big Shots.

Chuck a 1 1/4" hole saw on an extension in your drill.
Drill out plate in the end of each muffler. (just stick it in the end of each pipe while they are on the bike)
Start bike, blow slugs out of mufflers.

Then you will sound like you tough.

Ride on. Use your money for gas and new tires that you will wear out from riding.

I have to second Cabo's opinion of the Rineharts. I have a set on my 06 Dyna and they sound awesome.

I have an 03 lowrider and went with the VandH big shot staggered. Better sounding then slip ons, better performance. Over all I think VandH is a good choice.

Vance & Hines are great. If you just want a slip-on, check out the V&H HS Slip-Ons, they sound great.

There is something to do with the "quiet" SE mufflers, Chek this out :
https://www.hdforums.com/m_1726810/tm.htm

I modified my quiet SE mufflers and you will find the step by step instructions in this article.
You can also remove the fiberglass for a even better sound.
