Did the OP ever follow up?
Have these weld repair had long-term success?

FWIW Removing the engine from the frame is the best option for welding and a weld appears a viable option.
Its only been about 2 months but my buddy has put a few thousand hard road miles on it since. We're little hooligans as well, so hes wheelied it stunted it and she's holding up great. I've been working as a repair welder in a machine/job shop for almost 10 yrs, so i have some nice tools and machinery to use, and I've fixed all kinds of cast aluminum cases and various other parts so i felt confident enought to give it a shot. I was abit iffy like I said, just because of all the weight and our riding styles lol, but like I said it's still going strong as of now. This is the only post I've found about these broken tabs, so I just wanted to share my experience with it. I'll keep yall posted on how it holds up.

I'm curious as to which welding rod you used. 4043? Hobart 4943? I like the idea of peening the welded material. A buddy taught me to do that.

Something to consider is possibly a "tweaked frame" ... Sometimes a shim is installed when the engine doesn't sit square and flat in the frame ... I've shimmed a mount on a shovel years ago during assembly and never had a problem ... Just a thought

One thing to note is that it's a rubber mount Dyna. Mount probably has plenty of flex. The main thing is making the bottom of the tabs flat..
