Split Speedos and Tachos

Hi,

I have an '07 Bobber and want to put a conbined speedo & tacho to replace the stock speedo (has the 6th gear green light on it) - can't seem to see on for this bike anyone know different?

If you find out, let me know. I tried to find one for my '06 last year & was told that they didn't have one that would fit.

This says it will fit 04 - 06 Dynas. I think it is a new item this year

Hi Blaster,

I thought that too but it specifically says "Fits '04-'06 DynaÂ® FXDC, FXDWG, SoftailÂ®, and Road KingÂ® models." My dealer was all set to let me spend Â£500 buying one - however I fortunately decided toring up a US based dealewr who pointed out to me that they won't fit on the Bobber. If you shop by bike on the HD US web site none of these come up as a option.

The quest continues..................................

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the speedo/tach combo. I barely look at the speedo due to it's location.I don't like taking my eyes off the road in front of me long enough to find it and focus on it. I like my tach further forward either on the handlebar riser or on the handle bar itself where it is on my Street Bob, Roadking and Sporty. I'm always looking at the tach as it's almost in front of me and can basically judge my speed from the RPM's I'm turning. JMO
