For the last 6 months I've been interested in a wider front wheel and tire on my Dyna. During a walk through some of the vendor tents at a bike rally, I came across a company called GeezerGlides. I asked about a wider tire option for my WG, Andreas, one of the owners of the company took me down the path of a full front end rebuild with new 0 degree triple trees, to take some of the trail out of the bike for better handling, upgrading to 49mm forks and adding dual front brakes for better stopping power. After a few emails back and forth with the company, they put me together a kit that fits my vision for this project. I went with a set of 16" laced wheels from a Road King and will run a set of 130/90-16's front and rear. The lower fork sliders use the 2008 and later Brembo HD calipers, I will post progress pics as it progresses, incase anyone is interested in doing something similar. I'm hoping to have it complete by the end of the month.
