o.k. now i am confused.
guess i will stick with what my idy shop keeps telling me.
3-5-10-20 bucks, waited too long to get my harley to skimp on a filter.
If you look at the followinglink http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/FilterXRef.htmlthen scroll down youwill see that in catagory 5 the tester has the SuperTech filter made my Champion listed as one of the highest recommended filters.
SuperTech oil filters are made by Champion which is the same company who has been making spark plugs which most of you old timers grew up on. I'm not saying the SuperTech filter is the best oil filter out there but for under $3 I would have to say it is a great bargain for a good filter.

This thread is about oil filters, not about your crappy job you lost to China, it only takes a second grader to know that 1/2 of what you buy today was made there. Go ahead, throw your money away, I'm sure you made a pile of it molding plastic dog **** out there in Ohio.
I use the stock HD filters and 15-50w Mobil 1 and change them both every 5K. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to change the oil every 2k miles any more than it makes sense to spend $12k on a bike and stick the cheapest filter I can find on it
you are so not funny. if you would read.you would see i was posting in agreemenet with a previous post. now. for gods sake chill down !!!
i say once again.i would not put a junk wall mart filter on my bike. you don't like what i say. don't read it. people hate the truth. you must work at that dump wally world,LOL.
did i say i hate wall mart ? [:@]you love that place, that is your right.
can you say freedom of speech ? i doubt it. i broke no forum rules. put me on ignor list if you do not like it.
