So I stopped by Harley to get the banjo crush washers for my ape hanger bar install. Per the parts counter, it listed 41733-88 as the banjo I needed x6. Here is a pic of one:
Problem is that they are obviously too big when holding them up to the ones Im going to be replacing. The factory parts look to be simple crush washers and not gasketed washers.
I haven't disassbled the bike yet, so I dont have an old washer to compare to. Does anyone have a correct part number for the washers Ill need? Thanks!
The last time I rebuilt a salvage bike, I had such a hard time getting M8 H-D crush washers, I went to Autozone and got a pack. All good 1K miles later.
Copper crush washers should work fine, available at most hardware and parts stores. Try to find one that has them individually, otherwise you'll end up with a pack of 20, only 1 or 2 of which will be useful.
The part in the photo in post 1 is called a "Stat-O-Seal" or "Lock-O-Seal".
