Copper works just fine. Using DOT5. No problems.

There are, I've been using those washers on custom brake system builds for decades with all the fluids with no issues to date. Those oring washers are the only sure way to seal some of the chromed up fittings and surfaces with the aftermarket stuff.

OP any auto parts place will have those, they come in 8 or 10mm sizing for the ID , the OD may be a bit bigger is all.

Update: Parts counter guy at Harley was wrong.

Part number 41733-88 is wrong. The correct part number is 41731-01. They are still seal washers, and for Fat Bob it still takes 6x.
