Well I suppose the MoCo was trying their hand at the "versitility" game once... better stick to making what they know...
Btw if the bike was electric.. why in the heck did they put a GAS tank on it?? Or is that a gas tank? Was it a hybrid?? Holy Prius...

I don't have a link to any info on the electric Harley. I took the picture at a motorcycle museum in the Cherokee reservation area of North Carolina.
I think the part that looks like a tank is some kind of cover for the electronics that control the power of the four batteries.

When Dirt bike racing really took off you could buy a new dirt grinder for $1,200.00
I'm guessing there was no way Harley could compete.
btw, the Auto plants in Michigan have been using Electric Harleys inside for Maintenance crews forever.
There are a lot of places in an Auto plant where fuel powered carts can't be used.
