Definitely look better without bags but the bags are hard to live without. I had an 08 with cheap leather bags and EZ brackets. Took the bags off unless I needed them. Miss that bike. I just sold an 09 Softail custom because I needed bags. Ordered all the parts to go quick detach on a set of HD bags but it took too long to get all the parts during covid so I bought a Heritage. Anyway, looks better without, go with quick defach.
SuperGlide Custom 2010 with floorboards, small led turnsignals on the bar, led tailligth with integrated turnsignals, V & H, Open airfilter, solo seat, 7 "headligth housing, 7 "Led headligth, toolroll underneath, on the keft side swingarm bag,...

Reason: My Babe
I replied to this post while playing on my phone. Didn't get a good look at the picture. Beautiful bike. If you are going to have bags those are the ones to go with. They look great. I would still look into a quick detach setup. As for saddlebags in general I like the hard bags on the touring models. I could fit a whole case of Heineken in one side of my Road Glide. My leather bags on my Heritage aren't big enough for that but they are still roomie enough for me and they come off easy with just two bolts.
