In the basic settings you have to put the final drive gear to 87and the
gear 6min TPS to 40 for the 6th gear to work. Look at the instructions setup sheet.

I loaded base map HDTSSTVCUG050107.slk

with version 4.4 and 4.5 my 6th gear indicator is not working. Settings are per the manual. One of the tweaks I need to work on. The 6th gear indicator is minor IMO.

Already did all of that. It was working before I upgraded the firmware to EFI_THUNDERMAX_01_Version45_07_17_07.B19 and it won't let you flash back to the older version.

Thanks, for that information. Does everything seem to run OK?

I'm not worried about the 6th gear indicator either, was just noting that it wasn't working with the latest firmware.

I have 3 things I'm looking into. 6th gear indicator, hard starting once hot, and I think the speedometer is off a little. The tach and speedometer don't match up where they did before. Or maybe the tach is off now. until I can clock my speed accurately I won't know.

Hot start is the only one bothering me. But again it's only been 2 days of riding.

Once hot, if I turn the kill switch on and wait for diagnostics to end (engine light goes out) it cranks up to 8 times before firing. I noticed if I start it immediately after turning the kill switch on it fires right up. No issue with cold start.

I didn't play much with the settings this weekend. Just wanted to ride.

On the road she runs great and no more surging at part throttle when cruising.

If you're asking me, the answer is yes. It's all hooked up.

Did you ever try to clear the fuel and idle control adjustments under map editing ?
