Here goes nothing... I purchased a 2011 Super Glide Custom. Previous owner installed OEM HD forward controls. He also opted for "mini" floorboards which do not work for me. I contacted HD direct and asked for part # of full sized floor boards I can use.... crickets. Anyone here have an answer? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks!
I do not have the answer but if it was me I would go to your local HD dealer and ask them. They should be able to help. If you contacted HD corporate, they will be no help with this issue
Look up by your year and get what you want, or go aftermarket. Armed with a part # any local dealership should be able to source the parts you want.
No one on the phone is going to be able to identify what non-stock part is on your bike and then be able to recommend another non-stock part to make you happy.
Not trying to start a ruckus, but perhaps you are being a little unrealistic. Good luck, seriously.
Are you asking about full size foot board kit or full size foot boards to bolt on to the forward controls? The FLD foot board kit is part number 50500247. This is a complete kit from HD that has full size foot boards. I have this on the Fat Bob I currently have and had it on a 2012 Super Glide Custom I had years ago. I love it. As for full size foot boards you can just bolt on to your current forward controls I do not know of any. Not saying they don't exist but I know of none from HD.
