Hi my name is daniel caraballo im in bocas del toro panama is a caribean island. I just buy a harley davison with a evo 1340 engine and some body told me is a dyna.
the thing is the owner died 12 years ago and the bike was in front of the ocean. The vin number is gone. The bike is totally complete and the motor spin easy. My question is how can i know wich model i have with out vin number. Every body who knew the guy say he love it and he travel a cross the midle east to Spain spain usa and panama. Where did it go....
If you can't find the VIN engraved on the neck of the frame, or on a manufacturer's sticker on the right down tube, can you post up the engine number?

According to an online engine identification number chart:
EIN of "EBLE110977"
EB = FXRS
L = 1340 Evolution engine
E = 1984
Last 6 numbers are the production code and should match the last six numbers of the VIN.
That engine left the factory in a 1984 FXRS as an 80" EVO engine

How about posting a pictures of the whole bike??
