Looks like one of my rears might be leaking also, but aren't they warranted for life? And it's not corners where I'm getting too much dive, it's slow speed **** with unpredictable cagers. Interesting about the +2 dampers, I hadn't thought of that, but it could be my issue. We'll see as we get closer to winter if my desire to spend $900 on cartridges wanes.
Yeah. That's basically my dilemma now with everything. All the $500 and less stuff has been long knocked out. I'm definitely in the $1000+ range for anything left to do or change.
I've heard legend customer service and warranty stuff is a nightmare if they even do it. Again not first hand information just what I've read in comments online.

I'm in the same boat...well I guess I could do a Spluthe setup and that'd be sub $500 and maybe replacing the rear caliper with a matching GP4-RS and Kraus bracket?

If it helps muddy the waters a bit, GP suspension does offer a +2 cartridge kit. They have gone up in price since I did mine but it is a complete kit including springs. At least it was. With Ohlins you still need to purchase springs. That is probably another 100-150 added to the price. In the end they are both close in price. The GP suspension also gives you 3 color options for the preload adjuster.
For the rear I chose Ohlins over Ktech and Penske because the bike was meant to be something I could have fun with solo and with the wife on the back. Ohlins won because of the hydraulic preload adjuster.

Nice information! So many decisions and when I change my suspension again it will be the 4th time including stock. I really need to take a hard look at everything before I make another change as I want to to be the last time I mess with it.
