Engine mounts/ isolators, is there really a difference vs. Cost ?
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Installed a Drag Specialties front mount, Kinetic Structures rear.
Front mount was trashed, rear, not so bad.
But figured that since I was into it, I might as well replace both.
I kept the OEM rear as a spare , just in case". Front Front Front

Reason: Pics
Replaced both front and back mounts.
Drag Specialties front, Kinetic Structures on the back.
The initial ride was as rough as a Cobb, except for a sweet spot at around 2,500 - 3,000 RPM where it smoothed out very well.
Each subsequent ride seems to break in a little bit at a time.
Even with solid riser bushings, there's little to no perceptible vibration at 3,000 rpm, where most of my riding takes place.
I've worked on a few cars where the engine mounts were definitely a game changer. A couple of years ago, I swapped in some higher-end NVH isolators for my car. I wasn't sure it was worth the extra cost, but after driving it for a few weeks, the difference was clear. The ride was so much smoother, and the engine noise was significantly quieter, even at higher speeds. It was a huge upgrade in comfort. Honestly, for me, the investment paid off. If you're sensitive to vibrations or engine noise, a quality isolator really makes a noticeable difference.
Hello, my front motor mount collapsed a few years ago. I replaced it with Drag, but it gave me vibrations. So then I replaced the Drag with Predator. I still have vibrations around 2.500 rpm, but its better than Drag. Also, on the plus side is the h a n d l i n g. With Predator the bike is steady as a rock when you twist the throttle out of a bend. With Drag and stock you avoid that, because you lose balance. At least this has been my experience.
I have read about this phenomenon. It is called the Dyna Wobble. Predator takes you away from it.
