FXDC check engine light

Hello all,
I have a 2009 Harley Davidson super glide custom. While riding today my check engine light started to coming on and off. I did not see any error codes. Also, my six gear indicator is not illuminating anymore. Any thoughts?

Check engine light issue: --> Check for loose plug wire.
Gear indicator: --> IDK other than loose wire.

The Sixth gear indicator comes on when the detected RPM and detected Road Speed are in the right ratio. If either RPM or Speed are acting up it won't light.
