Mechanical/electrical issues
Good morning dyna riders. I ride a 2009 Dyna Superglide Custom. This morning while riding my check engine light and security light came on, then my bike started idling kinda high. The lights would then go out and started idling normally. This happen a few times. Also my 6th gear indicator was not coming on at higher speeds. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Clean speed sensor for 6th gear indicator maybe? I have not had that tranny open. But I think it is just basing on speed and rpm.
Check codes. Bike off, reset in, turn bike on probably YouTube videos on this

My 2007 over 70k miles twice has the idle take off, been over 12 years since last time. No idea why. I do clean Iac, but that seems to make me stall coming down from speed
