I have been asked and have no idea, but what are the consoles on our tanks made of? You know, where our speedometer goes. Not that I care but someone told me they are made of plastic since 2006. Battery and fuse cover are solid steel and that I know well since I was installing my PCIII on the Dyna. IMHO, it wouldn't hurt them to be made in plastic; there is also american plastic or....

I've got this Do-Do in Spain bitching me about Harleys consoles being made of plastic and he has created quite a stir in the Harley community because of this. I would just like to cut his legs by showing him photographic evidence that this is not so, that way I can shut his mouth and calm down our community. Mudpuddle has given me some clear proof, but I would like if someone has pictures showing that the Dyna with the clock on the tank also has alloy consoles. I would greatly appreciate it.
