Still popping after map adjutment
I had it dyno'd a few weeks ago based on a custom map sent to me by fuel moto with the pc3. I updated the firmware the night before getting it dyno'd and it was purring like a kitten. No problems starting, no hesitation, no nothing, but a nice rumble.
I get it dyno'd which separated the cams and ignition into to two sections apiece and it's noticeably backfiring on decel and occasionally on accel. So i brought home my laptop this weekend and made adjustments to the dyno'd map per a post on another comment on the boards that the base RPMs were probably not adjusted and to up them all to about 10. Which i did. It didn't do any good.
So i loaded the old map from fuel moto and although it seems to run smoother (slightly), it's still not starting great and is still popping. And that map doesn't separate each cam, so i know i'm not getting the best possible management.
i honestly don't know what to do. Anyone have any suggestions?
Popping on decel can be very difficult to get rid of, popping on accel does not sound good.
From what I understand - FuelMoto is excellent and you might want to call them up since you bought the PC through them.
Good Luck.
