Default Sprocket question

I have a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide. I’ve had it for five years now. I haven’t done much but rides since I’ve gotten it. Recently, I’ve went into semi retirement and want to play around with this a little bit. Looking to see what front sprocket change that I can make that would give me a little more highway speed without sacrificing too much of the takeoff. Any suggestions?

Not sure. Never looked at this type of mod. Mostly cosmetic. Just now I want a little more for highway. Few people say change sprockets but not what sprockets to go to. Either one better than the other?

Chain conversions are a pain and wear 4x times faster than the belt systems, they add vibration too, it's the go to for the dynabro hotrodders. One up on the trans sprocket is the cheapest, 66t rear and new belt is next. Both will give you a decent powerband for bay area and Nor-Cal riding in general.

Build the motor to a hot 95/98 ci motor.

34T for front
No belt required
Just the labor to get in there
Takes me 8 hours because I`m an amateur
Smart guy with a lift can do it in 4

so I’m not a slow mechanic. Not a fast mechanic. Kind of halffast. Probably take me a week.
