Someone on FB recommended using a heat gun to soften it up a bit so it's a little more pliable. I'm going to take the rear wheel off when my my jack risers show up so I don't damage my oil pan with my current jack. I don't plan on hooking up my front turn signals so hopefully having a little less wire to cram back in will make that portion a little bit easier
Finally pulled the trigger and sold a nice gun of mine to fund the bike.
Spent 30 minutes on the phone with the guys at Fuel Moto and ordered a Feuling 525 cam chest kit with the hydraulic tensioner upgrade. Good price, ended up being under $1400 shipped with their discounts.
Once I figure out these bars I'm going to focus on the suspension. So far I'm thinking a nice "budget" option will be some 13.5" Progressives in the rear, and a Race Tech drop in kit (springs, emulators) up front.
Man I sold my guns about 20 years ago and regretted it for a long long time.. This past winter I was able to get 3 of the 5 guns back.. I am very happy and will never ever sell them again.. Once they're paid for keep them because to by them back is a lot more money than you would've initially paid..

There are some that'll I'll be keeping for sure, some Glocks, a couple revolvers, and my rifles.
The gun I sold was a Staccato, very nice, but it had served its purpose. I very, very rarely shoot handguns for fun so that was going to be an expensive safe trophy. I figured I'd enjoy those finances go towards my bike which I get to use all spring/summer/fall.
