Fun To Ride?
Probably the best all around bike HD makes. My sig shows it bare bones. Last night I fininshed with the bagger look as I have 2 big road trips to start. I boughtit earlier this month used in Milwaukee. Flew there and rode it 1,200 miles back to Billings with a stop in Sturgis. It's a very comfortable cruiser - did 11 hours on the road the first full day without discomfort or strain.
It's not as nimble as the Sportie I sold and there is a difference in the cornering/twisties, but it's the best of both worlds. New sig will show the new & improved Dyna FXDL Low Bagger.
You will enjoy the ride on the SG and you did pick the right color.

I would take the test ride. I would also do the testing in a winding curving area so you can get the true feel. The 3 to 10 mile test rides do nothing for you, take it out and ride, let the dealer know that you will be gone for awhile.
Good dealers are hard to come by, its nice to find one. Its better to find a good wrench, have the dealer introduce you to the mech in the shop.
Congrats, be safe and have fun.
