Mine does this at very low speed (20mph and less) and only during decel. I blamed it on the rubber-mounted engine and learned to ignore it. Maybe front motor mount or steering head bearing adjustment or lubrication...I'm at 17k miles now and if it doesn't get worse before, I'm planning on replacing both at 20k.
Thanks for the info I will get on this as soon as possible I dont have a garage and the weather has been crap here in northern MN. I am guessing that the Triple "tree" I see now just the top is different is because it was needed for the T-bars. It was only at the end of my ride home on the last 4 miles of the ride. The weights are still on the wheel. I will take it for a ride this evening as it is a nicer day out. After I make sure I dont have loose or missing spokes. The speed was at 50 MPH when this was happening. And I was surprised at how bad the suspension was on this bike compared to others I have rode. I would like to upgrade suspension in future when I win the Powerball . Why didnt anyone tell me everything was so expensive for upgrading these bikes? This evening I will give a better update with more information. I appreciate all that have replied with there wisdom.
Check for horses before you check for zebras...
I had this exact issue with a wideglide. Dealer said the fork fluid was fine - It wasnt, she was pogo-ing all over the place . Changed the fluid, then the headstock needed to be retorqued, then the wheels needed to be rebalanced
All as stated above, check spokes, bearings, was the aftermarket stuff mentioned correctly installed using correct parts?
Its just 'stuff' but finding the right stuff if the challenge...
