Hello all, i just found an oil leak on the rear cylinder at the back, looks like its coming from the cover/cylinder joint . My bike is a 07 only has 16K miles on it its barely broken in. is this a known issue ?
Im hoping its possible too just tighten the cover bolts down , or should i take cover off and check head bolts?
Since you got it that far, might as well do breather. My 07, one fell aprart. Now that may be more mileage I don't know. Time plays a factor too.
I installed a quick disconnect for the cross over fuel line on mine. Draining gas and pull that hoses is one of the biggest PIA. Next time will be easier.

Rocker housing leak; not rocker cover. More work but easy fix; replace with OEM gasket. Take a picture before removing gasket; easy to install wrong way.
hello everyone , thanks for the replies, sorry for the delay in getting back too you ive been working a LOT lately lots of guys calling out and well i have too do their job for them.
Anyway thabks again i will clean the oil off ride it and see what happens is there a chance the cover bolts worked loose and just need tightening? that would be nice .
If not i guess ill be pulling the top apart , (yippie) but it doesnt sound too difficult , i'm mechanically inclined thankfully and should be able too handle things.
i'll keep you all updated.

You could try to tighten them down but if it were me I'd make sure to use a torque wrench and the proper torque.
