Broken switch - Where to find a right hand control?
Hey all
I have a 2016 Dyna Street Bob where the piece that connects to the turn signal switch has broken. I cannot replace this piece as it is a part of the hand control itself.
I have searched far and wide and cannot find a right hand control for a 2016 Dyna Street Bob. Ive checked eBay, etc.
Any idea how to fix this? I have tried super glue (Comes right off). I even made up my own connector, but a gain nothing to attach to inside other than glue.
Any ideas are appreciated or if anyone knows where I can find a right hand control!
Reach out to Fallen Cycles and a few other motorcycle dismantlers to see if they can help you out.
There was a recent thread with a list of these used part resources, but I can't find it right now.
Thanks UltraGuy. Unfortunately no luck with Fallen Cycles for the part. Finding this appears to be a lost cause which means I will just have to find a glue that sticks to the piece inside.
I don't have the parts book for a 2016 FDXB but I do have a 2011 book. Thie number there is 71571-06A for the right side lower handlebar switch portion. I would call a harley dealer and check the number.
Thanks I saw it there. Is that somewhere I can order from? It's hard to tell. It shows as if I can order it but I dont know it that is current.
I buy from Ronnie's all the time. You can call them, and they will tell you whether they have the part in stock and he'll also tell you whether the part number I mentioned is correct. Good luck!
